Initiatives in Brazil

Na Mão Certa Program

The Na Mão Certa Program is a Childhood Brasil’s initiative, which is part of the World Childhood Foundation, and aims to mobilize governments, companies and civil society organizations to effectively fight child and adolescent sexual exploitation on the Brazilian roads.
We were the first fashion retailer to join the Na Mão Certa Program, which we did through Instituto C&A, signing the Business Pact in 2007. Ever since, we have undertaken several initiatives together with Childhood Brasil to fight child and adolescent sexual exploitation.
Through awareness-raising campaigns, we encourage and guide our drivers to act as protection agents and make reports on federal reporting channels such as Disque 100 (Call 100) and the Protect Brazil App. We raise awareness through lectures and round-table discussions and disseminate campaigns created by the Na Mão Certa Program in the C&A’s distribution centers.
